Modular-Lab MicroCell
Modular-Lab MicroCell is the newest member of the Modular-Lab product family. This innovative self-shielded radiosynthesis box crucially reduces lab space compared to conventional hot cells. Thanks to its relatively low weight of approx. 450 kg it can be placed anywhere in a hospital or laboratory.
With the introduction of our new Modular-Lab MicroCell, shielding becomes an integral part of the synthesis system. The modules to actuate valves, syringes or other moving parts are located outside the shielding and only the sterile, single-use cassettes are placed inside the shielding area as fluid path. Modular-Lab MicroCell comes with an easy-to-open sliding door staying in front of operator for radiation protection, only hands are inside the shielding for operation.
