Eckert & Ziegler Wins Again Award for Excellent Training Quality

Berlin, 10 February 2021. For the second time in a row, Eckert & Ziegler has received an award from the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for the special quality of its training. The Berlin-based medical technology company has already been awarded the seal of approval for "Excellent Training Quality" from 2019 to 2020. The seal is awarded for a period of two years.

"The re-certification confirms that the quality of our training continues to be at a very high level. I would like to thank our training team and many other dedicated employees who provide our trainees with individual support and encouragement. In particular, I would like to thank our talented trainees. They are the best proof that apprenticeships at Eckert & Ziegler are both exciting and varied," explains Dr. Harald Hasselmann, member of the Executive Board of Eckert & Ziegler AG and responsible for Human Resources. "With a takeover rate of around 70%, training has traditionally been very important at Eckert & Ziegler and is a central component of our human resources development."

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) evaluated the training at Eckert & Ziegler based on more than 40 criteria. Amongst other things, the general conditions, the implementation, and the supervision of the training were evaluated. Especially convincing were the onboarding processes, the individual operation plans adapted to the training framework plan, and the team-building measures. In addition, Eckert & Ziegler impressed with the fact that trainees are involved at an early stage in independent projects which promotes social skills.

For the start of training on September 1, 2021 Eckert & Ziegler currently has vacancies for industrial clerks and IT specialists for system integration. The deadline for applications is March 19, 2021.
